This series focuses on the mental impacts of suffering with a chronic condition. In my case this is Scheuermann’s Disease and a mild scoliosis, which in turn results in fatigue and brain fog. When I started researching other projects that revolved around disability or illness etc I realised they were overwhelmingly positive and looked at the person and not the condition or its impact. So I decided I would do exactly that. Throw off the rose tinted glasses and show the ugly, nitty gritty details of living with a chronic condition. Something you don’t see everyday, but I certainly feel.
